Care guide for bags and leather goods (wallets, card holders)
- Overloading a bag with heavy items, as well as using it for purposes other than intended, leads to deformation, seam tears, and damage to handles within a short time. It is recommended to rotate the use of bags so that the material can "rest" and restore its shape.
- Avoid contact of the product with abrasive surfaces and sharp objects to prevent scratches and cuts. Avoid friction against walls, denim fabric, and other dyed surfaces, as light-colored leather may absorb color and become stained.
- When opening and closing fasteners (zippers, magnetic snaps, carabiners), do not apply excessive force to avoid damaging the hardware and the material around the closure.
- Products with natural leather lining may transfer dye onto hands or the contents of the bag during use. Do not expose to prolonged contact with water unless the product has a special water-repellent treatment or is marked "Waterproof."
- Do not use products made of natural leather (especially light-colored), suede, nubuck, or velour in rain or snow. If the product gets wet, immediately blot the moisture with a dry cloth, stuff the bag with paper to retain its shape, and dry only at room temperature.
- It is strictly forbidden to dry leather and leather-substitute products on radiators, heaters, or with a hair dryer. Rapid heating deforms the material, causing it to dry out, crack, and suffer irreversible damage to its shape.
- Hand or machine washing, home dry cleaning, and the use of harsh solvents (acetone, alcohol, gasoline) can irreversibly damage the product. For care, use only specialized professional products.
- Leather, like any natural material, may have uneven color and texture. Natural creases, wrinkles, and shade variations are possible, which are not defects but rather confirm the authenticity of the material.
CARE FOR LEATHER PRODUCTS
Remove dirt with a soft sponge or cloth dampened with clean water. Immediately wipe away excess moisture with a dry tissue. Dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Once completely dry, apply a small amount of cream or paste intended for smooth leather and polish with soft flannel. Use oily creams and pastes cautiously on light-colored leather when aiming for shine — they may leave streaks and darken the color.
CARE FOR SUEDE, NUBUCK, AND VELOUR PRODUCTS
Remove dirt only when dry, using a special rubber brush or a crepe brush with mixed bristles. To restore color, use an aerosol color spray; for moisture protection, use a hydrophobic aerosol spray. The use of creams and pastes is forbidden! Grease stains are nearly impossible to remove at home.
CARE FOR CRAZY HORSE (CRACKLED LEATHER) PRODUCTS
Remove dirt with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry at room temperature. After drying, apply an aerosol product specifically designed for crackled leather to enhance the "aged" effect and protect the material.
CARE FOR PATENT LEATHER OR ECO-LEATHER PRODUCTS
Remove dirt with a soft cloth dampened with water. Dry at room temperature. To add shine and prevent the patent film from sticking, use a special colorless cream or aerosol for patent leather.
CARE FOR TEXTILE PRODUCTS
Clean dirt only with a soft sponge dampened in a mild soap solution, avoiding excessive saturation of the material. Remove soap residue with a clean damp sponge and allow to dry.
THE SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Mechanical damage (scratches, cuts), scuffs, and loss of material integrity arising during use;
- Deformation, tears of the lining and seams caused by overloading the product;
- Defects resulting from lack of proper care (drying out, cracking of leather) or improper use (wetting, washing);
- Color fading and bleaching caused by direct sunlight exposure;
- Damage to hardware (zippers, snaps, carabiners) resulting from careless handling;
- Natural wear of hardware coating, paint rubbing off at corners and folds, as well as the development of a noble patina on the leather;
- Staining of clothing by suede/nubuck nap or by smooth leather pigment, especially when damp.
